Ce-DUR® Shakes offer the attractive appearance of wood shakes. However, the shakes, which are made from polyurethane raw materials, are a more durable and longer- lasting roofing alternative to traditional cedar wood shakes.

The shakes are molded with the reaction injection molding (RIM) process using polyurethane raw materials. Real cedar samples are used to create the mold, further contributing to the shakes' realistic appearance.

Color pigmentation throughout eliminates concern for damage from sunlight/UV, unlike surface coated products that will prematurely weather over time.

However, while aesthetics are obviously extremely important, it is only part of the equation. The beauty of Ce-DUR® Shakes also lies in their inherent properties, which include:
