It is with pride that I take the time to write this letter speaking to the praises of your company. From the bidding to the final inspection your company and the contractors you assigned to our roofing project maintained the highest quality of service and craftsmanship in completing our roof. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The tear off company completed the removal in my estimate “record time” with minimal debris in any of the yards. The material delivery crew was professional in their placement of the materials and the ability to place an 18 wheel semi in our limited driveway space. The pleasure we experienced in observing your crew performing the installation quickly and effectively, working long hours and working diligently to achieve the final outcome was also unbelievable. Lastly, Gabriel was there any time I called and kept me informed of the progress throughout the project.
With any large project, like the Colonial Estates roof, we were prepared for the inevitable problem, but it never materialized. Everyone in the complex was amazed with the outcome of the project.

I just wanted to take a minute to thank Dave and Tom and the rest of your team at Westshore for their efforts in repairing my roof. I know it was a small job, but it is my house and it’s all I can do to keep a non-leaky roof over my family’s head.
After I explained my situation to Paul at the home show at the Santa Clara Convention Center, he promised that he would have someone take a look and see what could be done. My current roof is only 8 years old and it’s been leaking for the past 3 years. I’ve been trying to get the original roofing company to fix their lack of workmanship, that was supposed to be warranted for 10 years, since the first leak was found. They’ve refused to come out unless I pay $350.00 up front. I’ve had trouble with these people from the minute they were on my roof. I couldn’t get any company that I called in the phone book to even talk to me let alone give me an estimate. However, Westshore has come to save the day.
Dave came out and found a way to apply the IB to my roof and make it work. He as approachable and answered all of my questions without being condescending. If he was going to be late, Dave called to let me know. Until now I’d never had any contractor call to let me know they were going to be late. They usually just showed up when it pleased them. You really understand the concept of customer service and I thank you for that. And since it’s been pouring rain most of the morning an no leaks have been found I’d say Dave did a pretty good job.

Paul, the owner, came out to give us the quote and walked us through all of our options, from roofing material to ventilation. Way more detail and explanation than the other guys. They were able to start the job that week and were done within four days. The tear-off crew was meticulous and they left the house cleaner than when they arrived. The roofing crew was very good and very quick, though they almost put the wrong vents on. I believe this was a miscommunication between them and Paul, but was quickly sorted out. The gutter crew was really quick and the gutters look great. I HIGHLY recommend Westshore, my only gripe was that I had to initiate all communication. Other than that, they were awesome.

These guys did a good job, and were flexible with me for installation time, as we needed tear off much earlier than the new roof, as the addition needed to be built first. Job site was left clean after completion of work, and the job foreman took time to walk the roof with me both during the job, and on completion. One roof jack was not installed, but after bringing it to their attention, they took care of the issue the next day. I will be using them on future projects

The primary reason I chose Westshore Roofing over the other companies was the quality of information and service provided at the time of quote. Tommy was early when we met. He was prepared in that he had all the paperwork and necessary equipment to conduct the evaluation and he was able to provide a quote on site. He was knowledgeable and courteous and didn’t waste my time with irrelevant questions. The reason that communication and timeliness is ‘good’ rather than ‘very good’ is that the project manager did not always effectively communicate schedule change information.
